This breakfast bagel sandwich is inspired by my favorite breakfast bagel I get from my local sandwich shop. My homemade version might even be better . . . just saying :) You can have this ready in less than 15 minutes, which is less time than it would take you to get dressed and drive to that sandwich shop.<br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Crack each egg, side by side, into the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4 minutes on the first side, flip over and cook for another 3 minutes on the second side. The yolk will be soft, but not runny. Remove to a plate. Add sliced ham to the same skillet and cook for about 30 seconds per side, just to heat through. Meanwhile, place the bagel in the toaster. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Remove bagel from toaster and immediately place a slice of American cheese on the bottom half, followed by the warm ham and then both eggs. Spread cream cheese over the top half of the bagel and place on sandwich. together the butter and sugar using a hand mixer. Mix in the vanilla.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add 1 cup
of flour, salt, baking soda and nutmeg and mix until combined. Add the
remaining 1 cup of flour and mix until just combined. Press dough evenly into
a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake for 15-16 minutes. Bars might seem underdone, but they set up as
they cool. Cool completely and top with frosting.

dry pudding mix and nutmeg. Add the eggnog and beat until thickened using
a hand mixer, about 2 minutes. Mix in the powdered sugar until fully
combined. Gently fold in the whipped topping until no white streaks remain.
Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before spreading over sugar cookie bars.
Refrigerate any leftover cookie bars.</span></span></div>
